A Home Pilates Reformer That Is Overcoming Obstacles

Traditionally, Pilates has been practiced in studios with in-person instructors and reformers that have changed very little over time. As a company introducing the first tech-enabled Pilates reformer, one of the Frame team’s initial challenges was educating consumers on the value of a connected experience. They did this by showing that expert instruction delivered through an integrated digital platform could be just as effective, engaging, and results-driven as a traditional studio class.

Inspiration Behind the Home Pilates Machine

Melissa Bentivoglio founded Frame, with Dua Lipa joining as Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, they had a shared vision of reimagining how people experience Pilates and wellness in today’s world. From the outset, the brand has been driven by the belief that people should be able to engage with Pilates however, wherever, and whenever they want. Frame was created to make the benefits of Pilates more accessible without compromising on quality, instruction, or experience.

As technological tools revolutionized industries across the board, the team at Frame drew inspiration from these shifts to create the first tech-enabled Pilates reformer.

“The goal was not simply to build a better reformer, but to redefine how Pilates is practiced and experienced for the modern consumer.” — Bentivoglio

The Best Pilates Reformer for Home

At the core of Frame’s innovation is the home pilates reformer featuring patented dual-spring technology, which introduces both push and pull resistance. By adding springs to both sides of the reformer, Frame unlocks a wider range of exercises and movement possibilities than traditional reformers, allowing users to maximize their workout within a compact 7.5-footprint.

Frame has also been designed to be more intuitive and accessible, making it a standout pilates home machine with features such as push-button spring adjustments, a swiveling touchscreen, and a lightweight, portable design. Beyond the hardware, Frame supports multiple modalities and movement styles, from Classical and Contemporary Pilates to rehabilitative, prenatal, strength, recovery, and wellness-focused programming, giving users the flexibility to personalize their practice around their goals and lifestyle.

Home Pilates Machines for A Better Tomorrow

Over the next several years, the team at Frame is ambitious about evolving into a globally recognized wellness and lifestyle brand that extends far beyond a single product.

They surmise, “While the reformer will always be at the heart of our business, our long-term vision is to build a complete ecosystem centered around movement, wellness, and accessible Pilates experiences.”
